Overview

On This Day is an iPhone app by Tiny Whale that helps you revisit photos and videos from the same calendar date across past years. This policy explains what information the app uses and how Tiny Whale handles it.

Photos Library Access

On This Day asks for access to your Photos library so it can find and display photos and videos by date. Photo and video contents, library metadata, and local browsing results are processed on your device. Tiny Whale does not upload your Photos library to Tiny Whale servers.

You can change or remove Photos access at any time in iOS Settings. If you limit access, the app can only show the items that iOS makes available to it.

Local App Data

The app may keep local settings, cached results, or an on-device index so your library can be browsed faster. This local app data is stored on your device and is used to run the app. Deleting the app removes app-local data, but it does not remove your original Photos library items.

Information You Send Us

If you email support, Tiny Whale receives the email address and any information you choose to include. We use support messages to answer you, investigate problems, and improve the app.

Purchases

If On This Day offers paid features or subscriptions, purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Tiny Whale does not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide purchase status information needed to unlock paid features.

Diagnostics

Apple may provide developers with crash reports, performance information, and aggregated App Store analytics depending on your device and App Store settings. Tiny Whale uses that information to fix bugs and understand app reliability. Diagnostics do not include your Photos library contents.

Third Parties

On This Day relies on Apple platform services such as Photos, iCloud Photos, StoreKit, and the App Store. Apple's handling of information is governed by Apple's own policies and terms.

Children

On This Day is not directed to children under 13, and Tiny Whale does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

Tiny Whale may update this Privacy Policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the policy last changed.
