How to batch rotate photos on iPhone

If a set of photos has the same wrong orientation, do not open them one by one. In Opla, select the photos, tap Rotate, preview, then save.

Opla mass rotate preview with selected photos, rotate control, Cancel, and Done

The workflow

  1. Open an album or grid in Opla. Start where the wrongly rotated photos are easiest to select.
  2. Tap Select. Select the photos that need the same rotation.
  3. Tap Rotate. Opla opens a full-screen rotation preview for the selected set.
  4. Use the rotate button until the preview is correct. The preview shows the selected photos with the chosen rotation.
  5. Tap Done. Opla prepares the rotations, saves the edited items back to Photos, and exits select mode after success.

What changes in Photos

This is not just a temporary viewer rotation. Opla saves corrected orientation back to Photos for the selected photos.

Caveats

  • Rotate only appears when the selected set is eligible. If it is unavailable, reduce the selection or remove unsupported items.
  • Use one rotation direction per batch. Split the work if some photos need a different orientation.
  • Batch rotation is part of Opla's advanced batch edit toolkit.

Fix repeated orientation mistakes in one pass.

Opla's batch edit tools are built for cleanup work that is painful in Apple Photos on iPhone.
